Lost Man Dying: Update Submitted by: Pastor Rick
We have had an answer to prayer. There is a family in out area that has been very rebelious to God and unfriendly to christians. One of them, a man, had been a bad drunk for years. He had an accident and was put in the hospital. While in the hospital, his organs began to shut down, and he went into a coma. The family was called to expect him
to soon die. I felt strongly to pray that he not be alowed to die without having another opportunity to hear the gospel. God brought him out of the coma, and I shared Jesus with him. I told him God had brought him back so he could turn to
God. I let him know he might not have another opportunity. He still had tubes down his throat, so he could not speak. He soon went back to sleep, as he is still on medicine. I will go back again to follow up. Please pray that this man,
named Francis Powers, does not wait. That he will turn to Jesus and live for him. Here we have many people that pray to ask Jesus to be their saviour, but then they never live for him. They think if they just repeate a prayer, that is
all there is to it. So many are decieved. They think they are getting saved, but they are not. There has been no teaching about taking up the cross and self sacrifice. People want heaven, but they don\'t really want God, because they
don\'t want anyone telling them what to do. Continue to pray for my church too.
Greenwood Covenant church in Alabama. God has given me a great anointing in preaching, but the church does not yet respond. Some days it looks like the church is waking up to the Spirit of God. But then after a few weeks, it is
spiritualy dead again. God has given me a vision of organizing things in a biblical way, but there are some leaders that just drag their feet and won\'t go
along with it. They do not fight against it, they just do nothing, even when they are supposed to. I have been here for two years, and no one has been saved yet. I am hoping that the man Francis Powers gets saved, and that will spark a
great harvest of souls for Jesus here at our church

Lost Man Dying Submitted by: Rick
Francis Powers is in the hospital dying. He is in a coma, and he is not saved.He has drank heavily for most of his life. For years, our church and others, have attempted to bring the gospel to him and his family, but many of them have rejected any approach. Now he may die without Christ, yet memebers of the family are still hard hearted toward God and Christians. Pray that this man will come out of the coma long enough to hear the gospel, and that he would respond to Christ.
