Providence Baptist Church in Liberty is pleased to introduce our new pastor and his wife, Michael and Whitney Putnam. Pastor Michael is the former children's pastor at the north campus of Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Michael is a graduate of Appalachian State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Whitney is a graduate of Texas Christian University and is a school teacher. They love entertaining in their home, running marathons and building relationships with people. This young couple is coming to serve at Providence beginning January 8.
Providence has unanimously felt God calling the Putnam's to serve and the Putnam's know this is where God is leading them as well. We invite you to join us at Providence and be a part of what God is doing in and through us if you're not already involved in an active church family. We are excited about Pastor Michael's leadership of us as we join him in serving God and reaching our community for Christ.

Join the Britton family as they celebrate the healing of their son's epilepsy with a dessert fellowship at 5:45 pm on Sunday, January 29.
The youth group will celebrate the Super Bowl Party in the fellowship hall on Sunday, February 5. Bring a lawn chair and a snack to share. Invite a friend!
